For your Protection, all Moving Companies are required, by Law, to be Licensed at the State and (if Applicable) Federal Levels

The license numbers indicating our compliance with these laws are at the top of each page of our website and on all our trucks. These licenses assure we're accountable per federal and state regulations. The requirements for legitimate movers are lengthy and costly, but they exist to ensure customers get needed protection.

Among the benefits: You're covered for injuries that may happen on your job because we carry required Workers' Compensation Insurance (you could be held liable for injuries if a mover isn't covered by Workers' Comp). Your goods are also covered, depending on the amount of valuation you select (.60¢ per pound per item is the no-charge industry standard, but you can opt for greater valuation).

We use the information you provide and our 30+ years of experience to give you an estimated price range for your move. These estimates are not firm price ranges. Your move may fall below, or exceed the range given. The actual cost will be calculated at the end of your move, based on our round-trip hourly rate and mileage for your move. The size, volume, weather conditions, last minute changes, distance between the truck and entryways are all factors in job duration and your cost.

Mileage Rate: We charge $3.50 per mile per truck. Charges are calculated round trip from whichever terminal is closest to your pick-up address

Commercial Rates agreed upon by Proposal

Although every move is unique, commercial moves can be more complicated than residential moves. We're happy to work with you to come up with an estimated budget for your move.

Local Moves (within NH)

We charge by the hour and by the mile, from our terminal closest to your pick up address; which will be included in the Contract for your move. A sample of our contract (legally known as "Bill of Lading & Contract for Services") can be found here.

Long Distance Moves (outside of NH)

For long distance moves we'll give you a Binding Estimate of Cost based on an inventory list provided by you or obtained by our on-site inspection, as well as your description of the logistics of the move (what floor(s), distance to exits, unusual circumstances, etc.), and/or a combination of the above. There are several documents required for long distance moves which need to be completed. We can either meet with you in our office to complete those documents, send them to you and then review them with you over the phone, leaving enough time for you to send them back to us, or even complete them on move day before your move starts. You also have rights on long distance moves that are detailed in a federal booklet we will give you. You can also read it here: www.fmcsa.dot.gov/protect-your-move
